What is SPAR?
SPAR stands for Single Point for Activities and Recreation. SPAR is a new program at SAIL created in the summer of 2009. It has developed numerous social and recreational activities in pursuit of inclusive community events. SPAR targets all community members to be more active in their independent living. Those who benefit from a SPAR activity have met new people and begun to create a higher quality of life and valued leisure lifestyle.
Feel free to view and print out all the fliers to the right for fun SPAR activities in your area. Right now, we are hosting activities in the Marquette, Munising, St. Ignace and Houghton areas. If you would like to learn more about how to host an activity in your area, feel free to contact us at the number above. Get out and play!
